Mike Doherty is an experienced engineering manager and software engineer with a strong background in search technologies. Currently serving as Engineering Manager for Search at Reddit, Inc. since October 2014, Mike has held various positions within the company, including Staff Software Engineer and Data Engineering Lead. Prior to Reddit, Mike worked at Amazon.com as a Software Development Engineer from October 2011 to September 2014 and briefly at IBM as a Java Developer in 2010. Mike holds a Master of Computer Science degree from Carleton University (2007-2011) and a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Guelph (2002-2006).
