Nastaran Ghadar

Nastaran Ghadar, Ph.D., is a seasoned professional in machine learning and engineering management, currently serving as a Senior ML Engineering Manager at Reddit, Inc. since 2023, where the focus is on leading the Ads Ranking organization. Previously, Nastaran held the same role at Twitter from 2020 to 2023, overseeing core ads features, foundational modeling, and cross-functional initiatives while advancing the machine learning landscape within the company. Prior experience includes positions as Engineering Manager at Lyft (2019-2020), leading mapping algorithm and prediction teams, and Group Leader at ABB (2017-2019), where Nastaran directed a machine vision group. Early career contributions at Draper included leading data analytics projects and publishing research in computer vision and machine learning. Nastaran earned a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from Stanford University and also holds a degree from Northeastern University.
