Sean Calarco currently serves as the Director of Engineering at Reddit, Inc., leading the Community Engineering team and overseeing the success of Subreddit lifecycles. Previously, Sean held various engineering leadership roles at companies including Handshake, The Predictive Index, and Wayfair, where responsibilities ranged from directing platform services and managing engineering teams to improving logistics technology. In addition to engineering roles, Sean works as a Leadership Mentor with Plato, providing personalized coaching to engineering leaders. Sean also contributes to the startup advisory board of Resupply, leveraging expertise in engineering and product strategy. Sean holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science from Boston University.
