Vanessa Hensler

Vanessa Hensler is a seasoned research professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles across several prominent companies. Currently serving as the Research Director and Head of Partner Research at Reddit, Inc. since May 2021, Vanessa previously held the position of Global Head of Effectiveness Research at YouTube, Google from July 2019 to May 2021. Additional experience includes roles as an Insights Researcher at Pinterest, Director at Nielsen Consumer Neuroscience, and Project Manager at Nielsen, among others. Vanessa's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Psychology from the University of Southern California, a Master’s Degree in Neuroscience from the International Max Planck Research Institute, and a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Jesus and Mary College. Research expertise encompasses neuroscience, particularly in the areas of brain function during cognitive processes, and experience in teaching and conducting research at various esteemed institutions.
