Vignesh Raja

Vignesh Raja is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in backend engineering and distributed systems. Currently, Vignesh serves as a Senior Software Engineer at Reddit, Inc. since November 2019, focusing on enhancing user safety as part of the Anti-Evil team. Prior roles include Senior Software Engineer at Optimizely, where Vignesh contributed to the analytics product and developed a real-time data pipeline using technologies such as Dropwizard, Flume, Kafka, and HBase. Vignesh began professional experience as a software engineering intern at multiple companies, including Salesforce and EMC, and holds a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
