Yan-Jiun Chen

Yan-Jiun (YJ) Chen is an experienced engineering manager with a robust background in software engineering and leadership roles at notable companies, including Reddit, Inc., ASAPP, and Bloomberg LP. At ASAPP, Yan-Jiun served as Software Engineering Manager and Lead Software Engineer, while at Bloomberg LP, positions included Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineer for the Instant Bloomberg and Government Intelligence teams, respectively. Yan-Jiun began an academic career at Cornell University, contributing as a Graduate Research Assistant, Teaching Assistant, and NSF-IGERT Fellow. Yan-Jiun holds a Ph.D. in Physics from Cornell University and a B.S. in Physics from National Taiwan University.
