Michael Wode

Michael Wode has a diverse work experience in the legal and compliance fields. Michael began their career as an Associate Director at Macquarie Group in 1997 and stayed with the company until 2004. From 2005 to 2007, they worked as a Legal Regional Coordinator for Alternative Fund Services at HSBC. Michael then joined BlackRock as a Regional Counsel for Asia ex Japan from 2007 to 2010. Following this, Wode joined Ortus Capital Management Limited as General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer, where they helped the hedge fund achieve significant growth and recognition. Michael moved to Manulife Asset Management as Senior Legal Counsel in 2013 before joining MVision Private Equity Advisers in 2015. At MVision, they served as the Chief Compliance Officer and legal counsel until 2018. Currently, Wode holds the position of General Counsel and CCO at Rede Partners LLP.

Michael Wode obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Law from QUT (Queensland University of Technology) between 1987 and 1990. Michael then completed a Diploma of Legal Studies at the Leo Cussen Institute in 1991. Finally, they pursued further education and received a Master's Degree in Law from QUT between 1994 and 2000.
