Albert Weenink

Albert Weenink has over 20 years of work experience in governance, risk, and compliance roles. Albert most recently served as the Head of Governance, Risk, and Compliance at Redevco B.V., where they were responsible for designing and implementing the governance and control framework. Prior to that, they worked at Randstad holding nv as the Director of Group Business Risk & Internal Audit, leading the integration of the risk and audit department after the acquisition of Vedior NV. Albert also served as the Corporate Risk Manager at Vedior NV before it was acquired. Albert started their career at NH Hotel Group as the Chief Audit Executive and later worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers as a Supervisor in Business Assurance.

Albert Weenink has a diverse education history. In 1992, they obtained a Master's degree in Business Economics from Katholieke Universiteit Brabant. Albert then went on to pursue a post-graduate degree in accountancy (RA) from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam) between 1995 and 1998. In 2010, Albert earned an Executive MBA in International Business/Trade/Commerce from INSEAD. Additionally, they obtained a certification as a Compliance Officer from Nederlands Compliance Instituut in 2022. Albert also holds a Randstad MBA certification from INSEAD, which they achieved in November 2010.
