Ignacio Rey Carrera

Ignacio Rey Carrera is a seasoned trader and originator with over 20 years of expertise in equity and energy derivatives across London and Madrid. They began their career as an analyst at Deutsche Bank and progressed to hold significant roles at Banco Santander and ENGIE, ultimately becoming the Head of Origination at EnergyaVM. Since 2019, Ignacio has served as the Managing Director of Origination, Energy Options, and PPA’s at Fotowatio Renewable Ventures (FRV), where they oversee global origination and trading operations. Additionally, they are a board member of REDEX and hold a degree in Mathematical Economy from Universidad Complutense de Madrid.
