Michael Petkov

Michael Petkov's work experience includes several roles in various companies. Michael began their career as an Office Assistant at Gutwert GmbH from 1998 to 2000. Michael then completed a mandatory German civil service at AWO Germany's Office for cultural exchange in Berlin-Kreuzberg from 2000 to 2001. Afterward, they joined Minus Multimedia GmbH as an intern and worked their way up to become the Assistant Label Manager, where they primarily handled digital music distribution, social network promotion, release production, website updates, and CMS maintenance from 2007 to 2010. In 2011, they joined This Ain't Music as the Label Manager, A&R, and Artist Manager, and held the position until 2015. Since 2012, Michael has been working at Redeye Worldwide, starting as the International Sales and Marketing Manager, responsible for organizing the company's global sales and distribution network. Michael later became the Director of International Sales and Operations and ultimately assumed the role of Head of International from January 2020 onwards.

Michael Petkov attended Georg-Forster-Oberschule from 1993 to 2000, where they obtained their A-Levels or Abitur. Following this, from 2001 to 2012, they pursued their higher education at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. During this time, they earned a Diplom | Master degree in Business Studies with a focus on International Management, Organizational Theory, and Business Law.
