Toru Ueda

Toru Ueda is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in investment management and capital markets. Currently serving as an Executive at Redeye AB since October 2016, Ueda has played a key role in enhancing the research department and managing proprietary capital investments in Swedish small cap equities. Previous roles include Executive Director and COO at VistaMax Fund Advisors and Executive Director CIO at Firebrick Capital Management, where Ueda founded the firm and managed a Pan-Asia equity hedge fund. Ueda's career also includes significant positions at Hachiman Capital Management, Liquidmetal Technologies, PPM Japan, Prosperity Capital Management, Mercury Asset Management, and SG Warburg & Co. Ltd. Ueda holds an M.Sc. in Industrial Engineering and Management from Linköping University.
