Brett Thurber

Brett Thurber is an accomplished technology professional with extensive experience in engineering and management. Currently serving as a Distinguished Engineer and Engineering Manager at Red Hat since January 2011, Brett has a background that includes a role as a Support Strategist and HPC Global Support Lead at Dell from January 2002 to January 2011. Between February 1994 and February 1998, Brett served in the United States Air Force as a Communications-Computer Systems Operator, where responsibilities included network administration and management of secure communications. Brett also held the position of Director at the Small Computer Support Center, leading a team of technicians to support a large user base. Brett has obtained a degree from the University of Houston, C.T. Bauer College of Business, and holds various industry certifications along with a Top Secret/SCI security clearance.
