Bud Smith

Bud Smith is an experienced business development leader specializing in cloud technology and strategic partnerships. Currently serving as a Senior Cloud Business Development Leader at Red Hat since August 2019, Bud focuses on the Hyperscaler Partner Ecosystem, including major platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google. Prior to this role, Bud held positions at Atlantic.Net Inc. as a Consultant in Channel Business Development and at DataStax as the Global Leader of GSI Strategic Partnerships. Additional notable experience includes serving as Senior Director of Global System Integrator Partner Sales at MuleSoft and Group Director of HCM Cloud GSI Partner Sales at Oracle, where Bud also undertook roles such as GSI Partner Director and HP North America Alliance Lead. Bud's career began at BEA Systems, where leadership involved managing the Channel Sales Team.
