Christopher Smith

Christopher Smith is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the public sector, currently serving as the Vice President & General Manager for the North American Public Sector at Red Hat since August 2022. Prior to this role, Christopher held various leadership positions at HCL Technologies as Vice President for the US Federal sector and at IBM, where responsibilities included Federal Market Leader for Security Solutions and oversight of sales strategies for Defense and Social Service accounts. Christopher's earlier career includes a role as Senior Associate at Booz Allen Hamilton and Senior Consultant at IBM, demonstrating a strong background in business development, market strategy, and client relationship management. Christopher holds a Master of Public Administration (MPA) from The George Washington University School of Business.
