Dan Bailey

Dan Bailey is a seasoned IT professional with over 25 years of experience in software development and architecture. Currently serving as a Senior Architect at Red Hat since November 2011, Dan has also held positions as a Principal Consultant and Senior Consultant within the company. Prior to Red Hat, Dan worked at Verizon Business from March 2002 to October 2011, where responsibilities included managing the primary commercial and government order entry application and leading a development team. Dan's career began at MCI Worldcom from November 1998 to March 2002, where leadership as a QA Software Test Lead involved managing a team of Quality Assurance specialists. Dan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Forest Resource Management from Virginia Tech, attained between 1995 and 1997.
