Daniel Farrell is a Software Engineer on Red Hat's Software Defined Networking Team, specializing in Kubernetes Multicluster Networking. They contributed upstream to the OpenDaylight open source SDN controller and served as Project Technical Lead for several significant projects. Previously, Daniel held various roles, including Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineering Intern across multiple organizations, and demonstrated leadership as Co-President of the NCSU ACM and AITP Chapters. Daniel earned both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Computer Science from North Carolina State University while also engaging in research in cognitive science at Radboud Universiteit Nijmegen.
