Dillon Winchell has a diverse background in software development and consulting, with experience spanning several roles in both academic and professional environments. Dillon began as a Student Tutor in the JMU Department of Philosophy, applying formal logic, and later served as a Teacher's Assistant in the JMU Department of Computer Science, where Dillon developed Java console applications and guided students in programming concepts. Between 2008 and 2010, Dillon worked at Microlink, LLC as a Software Developer, contributing to a business portal for intelligence analysts and addressing project challenges. Dillon then spent nearly a decade at Red Hat as a Consultant and recently held the position of Senior Architect. Additional experience includes a stint as a Computer Lab Assistant at JMU Technical Services, offering troubleshooting support.
