Emmanuel Bernard is a Java Champion and Senior Distinguished Engineer currently serving as the Chief Architect for Application Services and Middleware at Red Hat. Known for their significant contributions to open source projects, Emmanuel co-founded Quarkus and led the Hibernate projects. They have also played a crucial role in building a Kafka Cloud Service while transitioning the team to a Site Reliability Engineering mindset. In addition to their engineering expertise, Emmanuel hosts the podcast Les Cast Codeurs and regularly speaks at major conferences such as JavaOne and Red Hat Summit.
