Eric Ames

Eric Ames is a methodical pilot and certified flight instructor currently working at Chandler Air Service, where they teach aspiring pilots. With a background in the United States Air Force, Eric served as both an Aircrew and Survival Instructor, and later as a Life Support Technician. They have extensive experience in the field, having also worked as a certified flight instructor freelance and at Chandler Air Service from 2021 to 2022. Eric's technical expertise is further demonstrated in their current role as a Senior Solutions Architect at Red Hat, a position they have held since 2022. Eric earned a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautical Technology & Aircraft Flight Systems Management from Arizona State University and an Associate of Science in Survival & Rescue from the Community College of the Air Force.
