Eric Getchell

Eric Getchell is an accomplished technology professional with extensive experience in solution architecture and cloud technologies. Currently serving as Principal in Solution Architecture - Cloud Technologies at Red Hat since April 2020, Getchell focuses on enabling customers to enhance solution delivery through Red Hat's cloud offerings, including OpenShift and OpenStack. Previously, as Senior Solutions Architect at Red Hat from October 2012 to February 2019, expertise included advanced architectures in J2EE, PaaS, and Docker/Kubernetes solutions. Prior roles include Enterprise Architect at CIDC, where responsibilities involved systems architecture for Java supporting gaming services, and Senior Technologist at Distributed Logic Corporation, concentrating on J2EE applications. Getchell began professional experience as Senior Consultant at Computer Sciences Corporation from 1995 to 2000, following a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Business from the University of Vermont.
