Federico Paolinelli is a Senior Principal Software Engineer at Red Hat, working remotely from Pisa as part of the Telco 5G networking team. Federico has made significant contributions to numerous projects within the Kubernetes ecosystem, including container networking plugins and the MetalLB operator. Prior to joining Red Hat, Federico worked at LIST SpA for over a year as a Tech Lead, focusing on modern architectural technologies, and spent more than a decade developing mission-critical distributed systems in finance. Federico holds a Master's degree in Software Engineering (Summa cum Laude) from the University of Pisa, earned in 2004, and has actively engaged in public speaking at various conferences since 2014.
