Ilan Pinto is a seasoned software engineering manager currently at Red Hat since May 2021, leading a global team in developing Cloud-Native applications leveraging open-source, AI, and hybrid cloud technologies while contributing to the open-source community. Prior to Red Hat, Ilan held the position of Director of Software Development at Trax Retail from October 2017 to May 2021, overseeing a multi-national R&D organization and advancing machine learning solutions for retailers. Earlier experience includes a role as a DevOps Engineer at Amdocs, where Ilan developed a Continuous Deployment tool recognized with an innovation award, as well as positions in IoT development and business consulting. Ilan possesses a BSc in Industrial Engineering and Management from the University of Ariel and a further degree from Technion.
