Jiri Benc has extensive experience in Linux kernel development and engineering. Currently serving as a Principal Linux Kernel Engineer at Red Hat since September 2011, Jiri also held the role of Senior Linux Kernel Engineer within the same company. Prior engagements include positions as Technical Project Manager and Linux Kernel Developer at SUSE from February 2005 to May 2011. Earlier in their career, Jiri worked as a Computing Technology teacher at Gymnázium prof. J. Patočky from September 2002 to June 2004.
