Liat Pele is an Engineering Manager currently leading the development of observability and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) tools at Red Hat. With a PhD in computational physical chemistry and a BSc in computer science and computational biology, Liat previously held positions at Nokia as a Research and Innovation Lead and SRE Development Lead. Prior to that, Liat worked as a Senior Storage Engineer at Dell and a Researcher at KLA-Tencor. Passionate about both research and its practical applications, Liat has focused on developing algorithms for optical systems and cloud-infrastructure SRE tools throughout their career.
