Mark Hooper

Mark Hooper is an accomplished technology professional with extensive experience in solutions architecture and cloud security. Currently serving as an Associate Principal Solutions Architect and OpenShift Specialist at Red Hat since May 2020, Mark has collaborated with various sales teams to implement Red Hat Cloud technologies across twenty-eight accounts in the Upper Midwest. Prior to this role, Mark was a Principal Architect at Platform9 Systems, leading the design and implementation of managed OpenStack and Kubernetes solutions. Mark also held leadership roles at 5thColumn LLC, overseeing the management of a cloud security platform, and at Alcatel-Lucent, where responsibilities included cloud security and managing third-party risk. With a foundational career in information security, beginning at Cyberus Online and including roles at JetNet and Brak Systems, Mark brings a wealth of expertise in technical solutions and security management, bolstered by an education in Cabinetmaking Techniques from Algonquin College.
