Michael Lightfoot

Michael Lightfoot is a Solutions Architect at Red Hat, where they empower enterprise customers by transforming complex business challenges into strategic advantages. With a diverse background, Michael served as a Computer Programmer in the United States Air Force from 1995 to 2000, and went on to roles including Unix Systems Administrator at Titan Systems and LinCom Systems. They held the position of Supervisor of Systems Administration at Rice University from 2002 to 2011 before becoming a Solutions Architect and Service Delivery Lead at CSC for BHP Billiton Petroleum. Michael also gained valuable experience as a Linux and Unix Systems Administrator at Marathon Oil Corporation from 2014 to 2018. They are currently pursuing an MBA at the University of Mississippi, alongside Bachelor of Science studies and an AAS at Angelo State University.
