Michael Lin is an experienced technology leader in software engineering and telecommunications, currently serving as Manager of Software Engineering at Red Hat since May 2021. Responsibilities include supporting open source software development, establishing Kubernetes best practices, and integrating cloud-native workloads within OpenShift Container Platform. Prior to this role, Michael held various positions at TELUS Communications from July 2012 to May 2021, including Manager of Technology Strategy, where oversight of technology strategy, roadmap, and delivery for projects such as Small Cell and 5G RAN was key. Earlier experience includes specializing in small cell design, RAN architecture, and wireless device certification at TELUS, as well as 3GPP and automation work at BlackBerry.
