Nancy Potanovic

Nancy Potanovic, GRP, CCP, SPHR, is a seasoned HR professional with extensive experience in total rewards and people management. Currently serving as Principal Consultant and Chief of Staff at Red Hat since June 2009, Nancy has been instrumental in transforming executive visions into actionable goals and enhancing employee programs. Previous roles at Red Hat include Senior Consultant for Total Rewards and People Team Talent and Engagement, where Nancy advised executive leadership on sustainable business strategies, and Team Lead for Global Compensation Programs, designing comprehensive compensation structures. Prior to Red Hat, Nancy held the role of Director of Human Resources at Hughes, Pittman, & Gupton LLP, overseeing all HR functions and successfully hiring over 60 employees in 27 months. Nancy's career began at Icoria, Inc., where vital contributions were made in recruitment and onboarding during significant organizational changes. Nancy holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
