Pat Sharp

Pat Sharp is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in learning content development and engineering, currently serving as the Director of Learning Content Development and Engineering at Red Hat since October 2018. In this role, Pat leads a team dedicated to creating high-quality, hands-on lab courses for a variety of audiences. Previously, Pat held senior management positions at Red Hat, successfully driving improvements in customer-facing training through collaborative approaches. Prior experience includes serving as Director of Procurement and Project Management at Bühler Aeroglide, where Pat managed transformation projects, and as Director of Learning Design and Development at Global Knowledge Training, overseeing a team that developed comprehensive training solutions. Pat's career began in the United States Air Force as a Project Engineer, and education includes a BS in Aeronautical Engineering from Purdue University and an MBA from the University of Dayton.
