Peter Bowden

Peter Bowden is an accomplished technology professional with extensive experience in engineering and solutions architecture. Beginning a career as a Network Security Analyst and Student Technician at the University of Connecticut, Peter supported faculty and staff on both Windows and Apple platforms. After early work as an Engineer at Bolton Works developing automated robotic control systems for aircraft engine parts, Peter transitioned to Cigna, where significant contributions included roles as an Application Developer and Senior Infrastructure Engineer, focusing on private cloud development and automation via RESTful APIs. Since joining Red Hat in 2018, Peter has advanced through titles to become Principal Solutions Architect by April 2023. Peter holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering with a focus on Computer Engineering and a minor in Mathematics from the University of Connecticut.
