Simon Alcott has extensive experience in technology sales and solution architecture, currently serving as UK Tech Sales Leader at Red Hat since August 2007. Throughout the tenure at Red Hat, Simon has held various roles, including Senior Manager of Solution Architecture and Principal Solution Architect, focusing on innovative storage solutions and customer management. Previous positions include Platform Programme Manager, delivering pre-sales support and project management, as well as Senior Consultant and Senior Instructor, providing consultancy and training services within the UKI services team. Prior to Red Hat, Simon was a Systems Administrator at the University of Surrey and earned a degree from the University of Sussex from 1995 to 1999.
