Stephen Kimel

Stephen Kimel is a Senior Data Scientist at Red Hat, currently working on the Global Finance Analytics Team to solve organizational problems using data. They possess a rich background that includes experience as a Data Scientist at NetApp, where they contributed to predictive sales models and co-founded a data literacy program. Earlier in their career, Stephen held roles such as eBusiness Technician and Grants Manager at Appalachian State University and owned a successful guitar studio. Stephen earned a Master’s degree in Analytics from the Institute for Advanced Analytics at North Carolina State University, as well as an MBA from Appalachian State University and a BM in Jazz Studies from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
