Derek Walker is an experienced technology professional with a diverse background in architecture, management, and security, currently serving as a Senior Specialist Solution Architect for OpenShift and Security at Red Hat since May 2019. Prior roles include various architectural positions and a Security Product Manager at SWIFT from 2010 to 2019. Derek has also held leadership roles, including President and Principal Consultant at Southwest Systems Integration, Inc., and Founder of devnull software. Additional experience spans significant positions at Sun Microsystems and Wynn Resorts. Derek holds a B.Sc. in Health Information Science and a B.A. with first-class honors in Psychology from the University of Victoria.
