Sharon Chu

Sharon Chu is a highly experienced medical professional specializing in plastics, reconstructive, and hand surgery. Currently serving as an Executive Board Member of the Australian Hand Surgery Society and President of the Western Australian Society of Hand Surgery, Sharon has held the position of Plastics, Reconstructive & Hand Surgeon at REDiMED since February 2016. Previously, Sharon worked at Fiona Stanley Hospital in the same capacity from August 2016 to August 2023 and as a Hand Fellow at Macquarie University Hospital in 2015-2016. Additional training includes a Hand and Peripheral Nerve Surgery Fellowship at Royal North Shore Hospital (2014-2015) and advanced education in Hand and Wrist Surgery through The Australian Hand Surgery Society (2014-2016). Sharon holds a FRACS in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery from the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and completed a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at The University of Western Australia in 2003.
