Haiting Shang has extensive work experience in the field of quality engineering. Haiting is currently working at Canon Inc. as a Quality Engineer, where they are involved in manufacturing advanced Cadmium Zinc Telluride (CZT) semiconductor wafers with proprietary Traveling Heater Method (THM) technology for medical Computed Tomography (CT) Scanning. Before joining Canon Inc., Haiting worked at Redlen Technologies Inc. as a Quality Engineer. Prior to that, they were employed at Delta-Q Technologies in the same role.
Haiting Shang has also gained significant experience in substrate development and supplier quality management during their tenure at Intel Corporation. Haiting served as a Substrate Development Engineer and was responsible for leading-edge substrate material development and managing suppliers to meet Intel's criteria. Haiting Shang completed their Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Yantai University from 1994 to 1998. They then pursued a Master's degree in Physical Chemistry in Metallurgy from the University of Science and Technology Beijing from 2000 to 2003. In 2018, Haiting Shang enrolled at The University of British Columbia to earn a Master's degree in Engineering Leadership in Advanced Materials Manufacturing, completing it in 2019.
