Hans Knapp

Hans Knapp is the General Partner and Co-Founder of Yaletown Partners Inc., where Hans has leveraged over 20 years of experience in investing, legal, and corporate governance since co-founding the firm in 2001. With a proven track record of multiple $200M+ exits and over 80 financing rounds across more than 30 companies, Hans actively manages emerging-growth investments and is part of the Investing Team for Yaletown’s $120M Innovation Growth Fund. Additional leadership roles include Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Canadian Venture Capital & Private Equity Association, Chair of the Board of Directors for Circle Cardiovascular Imaging, and Board Observer for Cooledge Lighting and Redlen Technologies. Hans also serves as a Board Director for ePACT Network and Equicare Health and was a founding board member for Daiya Foods, contributing to its substantial growth and successful exit. Hans holds a Bachelor of Laws from The University of British Columbia.
