Marc Chapman has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Marc started their career as a Project Technician at the London Borough of Waltham Forest in 2000. Marc then worked as an HMMS Engineer at TranServ (Balfour Beatty, Mouchel Parkman joint venture) from 2005 to 2006. Following that, they served as a Highways Engineer at Hyder Consulting from May to November 2006. From 2006 to 2014, Marc worked as a Principal Engineer at TranServ (BBISL and Mouchel joint venture). In 2014, they were a Project Manager at Lafarge Tarmac. Marc then joined Umbra Cuscinetti Inc as an Engineering Maintenance Assistant (Work Student) from February 2017 to August 2018. Marc later worked as a Bachelor Thesis Contractor at Bosch Rexroth from October 2018 to March 2019. In April and May 2019, they held the position of CAD Engineer at Umbra Cuscinetti Inc. Most recently, since August 2019, Marc has been employed as a Facilities Engineer at Redlen Technologies Inc. In this role, they manage various projects within a semiconductor manufacturing facility and is responsible for HVAC improvements, clean room construction, test system and furnace build and installations. Marc also oversees the building management system and the development of an industrial network for IIoT. Additionally, Marc creates a digital twin of the facility for infrastructure and asset planning along with facility layouts.

Marc Chapman attended the Technical University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt (THWS) from 2016 to 2019, where they obtained a BEng degree in Business & Engineering. Prior to that, they also pursued a BSc in Physics Program with a minor in Engineering at Mount Allison University, although the exact start and end dates are not provided.
