Alejandro Cuevas is a researcher at Microsoft, collaborating with Madeleine Daepp in MSR's Special Projects since September 2024. As a Ph.D. student at Carnegie Mellon University's School of Computer Science, Alejandro has been engaged in advanced research since April 2019. Alejandro co-founded Redoux in February 2019, achieving recognition with the Glossier Grant in 2020 and Architectural Digest's Cleverest Award in 2021/22, alongside participation in the McKinsey Accelerator. Previous research experience includes roles at the Microsoft Research Plural Technology Collaboratory, TU Delft, and EPFL, where Alejandro implemented an anonymous communication protocol on mobile devices. Alejandro's academic credentials include a B.S. in Security and Risk Analysis from Penn State University, complemented by diverse educational experiences globally.
