Josh Purcell

Josh Purcell is an experienced technology professional currently serving as Principal Solution Architect at Redpanda Data since April 2022. Previously, Josh held the position of Cloud Engineer at IBM from May 2021 to April 2022, focusing on distributed systems, container orchestration, and event-driven architecture. Prior to that, Josh was the Full Stack Specialization Lead at Prodigy Education from July 2018 to August 2020, where responsibilities included managing developers and implementing new product features. Josh's extensive career at IBM from December 2004 to June 2018 as a Senior IT Specialist involved leading teams in solution design, technology research, and knowledge transfer. Josh holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Information Systems and Services from The University of Texas at Arlington.
