Mo Chang

Mo Chang has an extensive work experience in the field of design and engineering. Mo began their career in 2002 as a Programmer/Report Specialist at Middlebury College, where they were responsible for transitioning the college to a new system-wide data infrastructure. In 2004, Mo Chang moved to Visual Sciences Inc. (formerly Websidestory Inc.) as a Professional Services Engineer, where they were involved in all aspects of work from sales and initial requirements to implementation and account management. In 2007, Mo Chang worked as a Freelance Web Designer for Global Travel, and in 2010 they were an Interaction Design Intern at Teague. In 2011, Mo Chang worked as an Interaction Designer at frog, as well as a Design Research Intern at Artefact. From 2014 to 2021, Mo Chang worked at Google as a Staff UX Manager, UX Manager, Senior UX Designer, and User Experience Designer. Most recently, Mo Chang has been a Senior Product Design Manager at HashiCorp since 2021, and is currently the Head of Design at Redpanda Data since 2022.

Mo Chang attended Middlebury College from 1999 to 2002 and earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Computer Science and Economics. Mo then attended the Illinois Institute of Technology from 2008 to 2011, where they received a Master of Design in Interaction Design, Design Research and Design Strategy. Mo also attended the Illinois Tech Stuart School of Business from 2008 to 2011 and earned a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.).
