Rafal Korepta

Rafal Korepta has been working in the software engineering industry since 2012. Rafal'sfirst job was as a Junior Software Engineer at Samsung from 2012 to 2015. Afterwards, they worked as an Android Consultant at Sigma Connectivity Sp. z o.o. (Design House Warsaw) from 2015 to 2016. From 2016 to 2019, Rafal worked at F5 Networks as a Golang Software Engineer and a Java Software Engineer, where they were responsible for building an analytic platform for a new cloud-native product and working in a scale agile project. Lastly, they have been working as a DevOps Engineer at Atena Usługi Informatyczne i Finansowe S.A. since 2019, where they have designed a new CI/CD pipeline for an on-premise OpenShift environment, evaluated performance of existing services in AWS, and created observability tools for Kafka. Currently, they are a Software Engineer at Redpanda Data.

Rafal Korepta received their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Warsaw University of Technology between 2010 and 2015. Rafal has also obtained four certifications from The Linux Foundation, including LFD259: Kubernetes for Developers (August 2019), LFS258: Kubernetes Fundamentals (July 2019), CKA: Certified Kubernetes Administrator (December 2019), and CKAD: Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (August 2019).
