Previously, Carl worked as a Shaft Superintendent at REDPATH MINING and Atkinson Construction Underground Division, where responsibilities included managing shaft operations. Additionally, Carl held roles as Project Superintendent at Cementation USA Inc. and JS Redpath Limited, along with the position of General Mine Foreman at Barrick Gold Corporation, overseeing underground operations in various locations, including Rodeo and Tanzania. Carl's foundational education was completed at Wallace High School.
