Craig Bain is an experienced banksman and rigger currently employed at REDPATH MINING since August 2022, working on the Woodsmith service shaft mine. Prior to this role, Craig Bain spent 14 years at Sparrows Group, where responsibilities included being a NVQ Level 3 rigger and an OPITO Level 4 Level 3 banksman/slinger, focusing on projects, shutdowns, and crane maintenance in the North Sea, as well as developing electronic lift plans for clients. Craig Bain’s career began as a steel erector/rigger apprentice at Cleveland Bridge UK, contributing to the construction of the new Wembley Stadium, followed by a position as a rigger at Cordell Group Limited. Education was completed at Rye Hills School in Redcar from 1990 to 1995.
