Abdiel Sanchez

Abdiel Sanchez has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Abdiel currently works as a Senior Software Architect at RedSail Technologies, LLC since April 2023. Prior to this, they held a role as an Instructional Associate at the Georgia Institute of Technology, starting in August 2019. In this role, they were responsible for grading, responding to student questions in forums, providing office hours, enforcing academic integrity, and other duties as assigned for the CS7646 - Machine Learning for Trading course.

Before joining RedSail Technologies and Georgia Institute of Technology, Abdiel Sanchez worked at Change Healthcare as a Senior Manager in Platform Development from June 2014 to April 2023. Prior to that, they served as a Platform Development Manager at Capario from March 2009 to June 2014, and at MedAvant Healthcare Solutions from December 2005 to June 2008.

Abdiel Sanchez also has a long history with ProxyMed, where they held multiple roles. Abdiel started as a Software Engineer in January 1999 and was later promoted to Senior Software Engineer in May 2000. From June 2003 to December 2005, they served as the Software Engineering Lead at ProxyMed.

Additionally, Abdiel Sanchez worked as a Junior Software Engineer at AI Software from January 1998 to January 1999, marking the early stages of their career.

Abdiel Sanchez has a strong educational background in computer science and related fields. Abdiel obtained a Master of Science in Computer Science with a specialization in Interactive Intelligence from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2019. Prior to that, they completed a bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Florida International University between 2000 and 2003. Before entering university, they earned an Associate in Science degree in Computer Science from Miami Dade College, which they completed from 1996 to 2000.

In addition to their academic achievements, Abdiel Sanchez also holds certifications from Scaled Agile, Inc. Abdiel obtained a Certified SAFe® 4 Product Owner/Product Manager certification in December 2019, as well as a Certified SAFe® 4 Scrum Master certification in the same month and year.
