Omar Khan

Omar Khan has worked in the security field for over 15 years, starting in 2005 as an Information Security Professional at Cyber Internet Service Provider (Pvt) Ltd. In 2009, they moved to HBL - Habib Bank Limited, where they held roles as Senior Manager Information and Network Security and Information Security Manager. In 2014, they joined RedShield Security Limited as a Security Consultant. In 2021, they took on the role of Security Operations Lead at Ministry of Justice - New Zealand. Omar is currently employed as a Senior Application Security Engineer at RedShield.

Omar Khan completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science from Sir Syed University between 2001 and 2004. Omar obtained their CISSP certification from International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium (ISC2) in September 2009. In June 2013, they became an Accredited Configuration Engineer (ACE) from Palo Alto Networks. Finally, they obtained their PCI ASV certification from PCI Security Standards Council in March 2015.
