Sam Pickles

COO, CTO & Co-Founder at RedShield Security

Sam Pickles is the CTO and co-founder of RedShield Security. Sam has over 15 years of experience in the information security industry.

Prior to joining RedShield, Sam was the Lead SME for Security, APAC & Japan at F5 Networks. In this role, they were responsible for providing technical support and sales consulting for F5's security products in the APAC and Japan regions.

Previously, Sam was a Presales Consultant at nscglobal, where they were responsible for building the company's information security practice. Sam has also worked as a Security Presales Consultant at DXC Technology and as a Key Account Manager at e92plus.

Sam has a deep understanding of information security solutions and technologies. Sam is passionate about helping organizations protect their data and systems from cyber threats.

Sam Pickles has a LEAD Program in Business Administration and Management, General from Stanford University Graduate School of Business. Sam also has a Diploma in Computer Science from the University of Oxford. Lastly, they have a Bsc (Physics) in Quantum Physics, Electronics, and Photonics from the University of Otago.
