Ben Folks

Ben Folks has a diverse work experience spanning different roles within various companies. Ben is currently serving as the Lead Engineer and Co-Founder at Redshift since April 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Technical Lead (Part-time) at AdThrill Inc. from December 2017 to January 2022. Ben also held the position of Sr Software Engineer at Astra from September 2019 to November 2021. Additionally, Ben worked as a Full Stack Developer at RedShelf from January 2018 to September 2019, where they worked on various projects using Django/DRF, Python, pytest, Selenium, PostgreSQL, Ember.js, HTML/CSS. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Senior Applications Engineer at DP Technology - ESPRIT CAD/CAM Software from July 2012 to January 2018, where they gained expertise in ESPRIT CAD/CAM, SolidWorks, VBA, VB.NET, and Microsoft SQL Server.

Ben Folks attended the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering. Ben has additional certifications as an FAA Certified Commercial Pilot from the Federal Aviation Administration and as a Certified SolidWorks Professional from Dassault Systèmes.
