Ciaran Martin

Ciaran Martin is a prominent figure in cyber security, having founded the UK's National Cyber Security Centre and served as its first CEO from 2013 to 2020. They are currently a Professor of Practice at the Blavatnik School of Government at Oxford University and a fellow at Hertford College, Oxford. With over 23 years of experience in the UK Government, Ciaran has worked with multiple Prime Ministers and held senior roles at HM Treasury, the Cabinet Office, and GCHQ. Presently, they serve as UK Chair of CyberCX, a managing director at Paladin Capital, and hold various advisory positions, including at Garrison Technologies and RedSift.
