James Johnson

James Johnson is currently the Chief Operating Officer at RedSky, where they are responsible for strategic leadership. Previously, they served as a Program Manager at the U.S. Department of Energy from 1991 to 2004 and held multiple leadership roles at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, including Director of Technology Centers and Executive Director of the National Bio and Agro Defense Program. Their early career included experience as a Plant Engineer at Westinghouse Electric Company (1985-1989). James is pursuing advanced degrees in Nuclear Engineering from both the Georgia Institute of Technology and the University of Arizona, along with an MBA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
