Kyle Wasserberger is the Lead Biomechanist for the Boston Red Sox, a position they began in 2024. Previously, they served as a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant at Auburn University from 2018 to 2021, teaching courses on biomechanics, strength and conditioning, and wellness. Their early career included roles as an Assistant Baseball Coach at Calvin University and as a Strength and Conditioning Coach at Hofbauer Performance, both in 2016-2017. In 2021, they gained experience as a Sport Science Intern at Driveline Baseball Enterprises, where they contributed to biomechanics operations and data collection for their dissertation. Kyle holds a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in biomechanics from Auburn University.
